Creekside Inn

I was greeted warmly and well looked after in this charming roadside inn in July 2023. The room was well set up, comfortable and prettily decorated. There was a generous pantry just down the hall stocked with lots of treats and beverages. Dinner in the dining room was delicious and I appreciated the attentive hospitality. I realized on the morning that I was leaving that there was no smoke detector on the ceiling of my room - the reason that I took off a star. That should not have been overlooked. I checked the hallways and noticed that there were no smoke detectors anywhere. I left a message with the offsite phone line and hopefully this was fixed right away. Otherwise, this place is a gem and I recommend it.

Decent price for what you get! Can’t complain there! Staff is super friendly so that’s a plus. Can’t say anything about restaurant portion, but we stayed in the butterfly room. Note: Walls are super thin so we heard a loud couple next to us for two out of the three nights who started getting loud around 5AM. There’s supposed to be quiet hours but depending on the guests around you, it could be an issue when it comes to sleep. The Bathroom is small as well as shower but it’s comfortable for what it is. You’re not going to find a huge room in the butterfly room. If you’re looking for bigger, ask them which rooms are the biggest and hook that one. Pros: It was super clean and you can tell they care about their guests because they even had a white noise machine in the room! They have an awesome breakfast nook right outside the room which provides plenty of snacks and beverages which is super sweet and such a homey touch! The room was very nicely decorated as well. Someone in the comment mentioned that the bathroom door is a barn door which is true just for reference. Would 100% stay again and maybe book the bigger room as well now that I know !
